Every job's Financial tab shows two columns: Estimated (what the job should be worth and should cost, based on what you agreed and what you planned) and Actual (what it really cost — time clocked on site, plus confirmed supplier invoices). They're allowed to disagree; the gap between them is the point.
Nothing here is ever guessed. If a figure can't be worked out, it's left blank and the reason is written underneath — a £0 you can't trust is worse than no number at all. See Why is this figure blank? to look up any wording you've seen on a job.
